Daily Timetable Example

What to bring to camp

​

Here is a suggestion for what to bring/wear

 

Daily Essentials (Label Everything!) ✔

Rucksack (lightweight, easy to carry) ✔

Refillable water bottle (insulated to stay cool) ✔

Packed lunch & snacks (note we are a nut free school ) ✔

Small towel (quick-dry microfiber) ✔

Sun cream (SPF 50+, waterproof) + lip balm with SPF

 

Clothing (Per Day) - T-shirt/polo shirt (breathable fabric) - Shorts (elasticated waist for little ones) - Swimming costume/trunks - Rash vest (for sun/pool protection) - Trainers (sturdy for sports) - Flip-flops/Crocs (for poolside & changing) - Sun hat/cap + sunglasses (UV protection) - Light jumper/fleece (for cooler mornings) (Note: Pack a full change of clothes for Reception/KS1 children – spills happen!) 

 

Swimming Kit - Goggles (if your child uses them) - Plastic/wet bag (for damp kit)  Sports & Outdoor - Spare socks (in case of wet grass) 

 

Hygiene Bits - Hand sanitiser (travel-sized) - Wet wipes (for sticky fingers) - Tissues 

What NOT to Bring - Valuables (jewellery, expensive gadgets) - Electronic devices (unless specified by camp) -Mobile phones -Glass containers

 

Top Tips:

1. Name labels everywhere! Camps are graveyards for lost jumpers.

2. Pack the night before – avoids the morning scramble.

3. Check the forecast – add a waterproof jacket if showers are likely.
